Police Officer Helps Mother Revive Infant

Tim Dunn suffern policeSUFFERN – A Suffern police officer who answered a frantic 911 call was able to help a mother who feared her baby was choking, according to village police.

Police Officer Tim Dunn was on communications duty for the Suffern Police Department on Monday when a Parkside Drive resident called 911 for help. Police said Dunn, in a calm manner, was able to explain emergency procedures to the mother over the phone and Dunn soon could hear the baby crying.

Police said Dunn’s calm and knowledgable manner helped this mother and child in a time of extreme crisis.
