On Thursday morning, Jan. 30, 2014, Rockland County Executive Ed Day was named principal for the day of St. Paul Catholic School in Valley Cottage, NY. Ed Day visited with the children in almost all of the classrooms.

As principal, Ed Day made an announcement, on the loud speaker to the children of the school, that tonight would be a “No homework night!” Instead of homework, Mr. Day asked the children to do something nice at home.
