STONY POINT AMBULANCE CORPS RECEIVES A GRANT FROM ENTERGY

The Stony Point Ambulance Corps has been awarded a $10,000 Safety Responder’s Grant from the Entergy Corporation’s Charitable Foundation. The money received from the grant will be used to partially fund the purchase of much needed supplies, uniforms, equipment, and training for the Corps.

“The Stony Point Ambulance Corps truly appreciates the funding from the Entergy Corporation,” Alan Horowitz, director of Special Projects for the Emergency Medical Service organization, said.

“All of our volunteers… the riding crews, youth squad, auxiliary, and the members of the board of directors, work hard 365 days a year to give the citizens of Stony Point outstanding emergency medical and disaster services. Entergy’s grant will help support our EMS organization in its continued efforts to serve the community,” Horowitz noted.
