The Stony Point PBA will hold its fifth annual blood drive in memory of Jimmy McNicholas on Feb 24, 2014 from 3-9 p.m. at the RHO building in Stony Point. The PBA anticipates another year with solid turnout in honor of Jimmy, a lifetime North Rocklander who was killed by a drunk driver May 31, 2009.

Stony Point Sergeant John Wood said, “To all previous donors I would like to thank you again for donating and to all first time donors, I look forward to meeting you at the blood drive. Feel free to sign up for a specific time on the NY Blood Center website or you can email me back with a time you will like to donate and I will sign you up. ”

Blood supplies are critically low during the winter and summer months, this is why blood drives are often held during these seasons. For more information or to make an appointment call the Stony Point PBA at 845-786-2422 or email [email protected].
