In Response to MTA Tragedy TAPPAN ZEExpress Buses Modify Service

POMONA, NY – The Rockland County Department of Public Transportation has issued the following Customer Alert, as of 2 p.m. on December 2, 2013:

In response to the Metro-North Hudson Line derailment, extra TZx buses are serving the Harlem Line in White Plains.

For the PM commute on Monday, December 2 (and until further notice):

Extra TZx buses will meet White Plains express trains departing Grand Central Terminal at 4:21, 5:27, 5:46, 6:09, 6:52, 6:58, and 7:24 p.m. Passengers will need to board TZx buses from Lane E at the White Plains TransCenter. TZx buses will wait for the express train arrivals before departing the TransCenter.

In addition, TZx buses normally departing from White Plains at 5:16, 5:39, 6:04, 6:44, 7:14, 8:23 and 9:40 p.m. may modify departure times to accommodate express trains departing Grand Central Terminal at 4:36, 4:57, 5:19, 6:13, 6:30, 7:52 and 8:52 p.m.

 

All other TZx buses will operate normal weekday schedules.
