HAVERSTRAW EAGLE SCOUTS RECOGNIZED

At the Haverstraw Elks Lodge #877 on Sunday, November 24, Supervisor Howard T. Phillips, Jr. presented a plaque to Eagle Scout Joseph Miklos of Boy Scout Troop 10. For his Eagle Scout project, Joseph refurbished and restored two cannons and constructed two benches at the Haverstraw Elks Lodge. At the town board meeting on Monday, November 25 Supervisor Phillips and the Town Board presented a plaque to Eagle Scout Willi Anton of Boy Scout Troop 21. For his Eagle Scout project, Willi constructed two wheel-chair accessible raised flower beds for Helen Hayes Hospital.
