GLC RECEIVES DISTINGUISHED CITIZENS AWARD FROM BOY SCOUTS

Phillip E. Goldstein, managing partner of Goldstein Lieberman & Company LLC, the region’s largest certified public accounting and business advisory firm, was accompanied by partners Ben Mills, Bruce Margulies and Pincus Lieberman as he accepted the Distinguished Citizens Award from David Horton, CEO of the Boy Scouts of America Hudson Valley Chapter. The award dinner was held on November 7 at the Paramount Country Club in New City, New York. John Sterling, NY Yankee Sportscaster was the speaker at the event and shared memorable moments from his equally distinguished career. The award comes in recognition of Goldstein Lieberman & Company’s support of the community at large as well as its on-going support of scouting in the region. Goldstein Lieberman was recently awarded Rockland County Business Association’s prestigious Pinnacle Award and Business of the Year Award by the MRCC. To date Goldstein Lieberman & Company has awarded over $300,000 to various causes including Boy Scouts of America Hudson Valley Chapter. In addition to donating at many events, Goldstein Lieberman & Company takes a leadership role in many organizations. “Goldstein Lieberman & Company is proud to be able to help the communities in which it serves and was honored to be recognized in this fashion,” Mr. Goldstein remarked.
