Letter to the Editor: KATZ NOT PLEASED

To the Editor,

What type of newspaper that purports to be legitimate publishes unsigned letters to the editor? If someone needs to express their opinion in a public forum they should identify themselves and newspapers should not enable people to hide themselves when making accusations. Allowing unsigned letters makes you no better the partisan rags like The Advocate.

Editor’s Response – We do not encourage anonymous letters to the editor, but sometimes will publish material from an unnamed source if we deem their opinion of value. Of course, the newspaper is aware of who the source is.
