Thursday, September 26 at approximately 8:45 p.m., Eduardo Cantero-Flores, 21, from Spring Valley was arrested at the H&M store located on the first floor of the Palisades Center Mall after being caught  giving women at the store some seriously unwanted attention.

Police said he was observed by store security officers to allegedly be exposing himself and performing lewd acts while following female customers around the store.

The plot thickened as Eduardo was placed under arrest, and while being escorted to a police vehicle, broke free from custody and began to flee on foot.  Cantero-Flores was subsequently subdued via taser. He was transported to Nyack Hospital for evaluation, treated and released.

The continued investigation revealed that Cantero-Flores is suspected of another incidence of lewd behavior in a similar incident that occurred in June 2013 at Gilly Hicks, also located at the Palisades Center Mall.

Cantero-Flores is currently at Clarkstown Police Headquarters awaiting arraignment in Clarkstown Justice Court.  He is being charged with two counts of public lewdness, escape third degree, and resisting arrest (all misdemeanors).

The Clarkstown Police Department is looking to identify additional victims or incidents.   Anyone who has experienced a similar incident with the suspect please contact the Clarkstown Police Department at 845-639-5800.
