COUNTY TO HOLD 9/11 MEMORIAL CEREMONY AT HAVERSTRAW BAY PARK

All residents invited to honor those who lost their lives 

NEW CITY, NY – The County of Rockland invites all Rockland residents to attend a memorial ceremony beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Haverstraw Bay County Park, marking the 12th anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

“We invite all residents to take part in this somber ceremony to honor the lives of those we lost on that horrific day,” said County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoef.

The Haverstraw Bay County Park is open from dawn to dusk and residents are always welcome to visit the memorial during those times.
