Penguin Rep Theatre Presents Judy Gold in 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother

judygoldphoto 4Penguin Rep Theatre will present veteran stand-up comic Judy Gold in “25 Questions for a Jewish Mother” for one performance only, Saturday, September 7 at 8 p.m. at SUNY Rockland Community College in Suffern, New York.

A two-time Emmy Award winner for “The Rosie O’Donnell Show,” Gold brings her trademark warmth and humor to “25 Questions for a Jewish Mother,” a one-woman comedy written by Ms. Gold and Kate Moira Ryan, based on more than 50 interviews with Jewish mothers across the United States. In the show, Ms. Gold seamlessly weaves anecdotes from her own life — she’s the single, Jewish and Kosher mother of two sons — with snippets from the interviews

The New York Times called 25 Questions “fiercely funny, honest and moving.” The special presentation is sponsored by Helene and Barry Lewis and will take place in R.C.C.’s Cultural Arts Theatre located on 145 College Road. All seats are reserved.

Tickets are $39 each ($34 for Penguin subscribers) and may be ordered at www.penguinrep.org or by calling 845-786-2873.
