Matthew Byrne, Frank Hagen and Jim Giannettino are running for Village Board of Suffern on both the Republican and Independence lines. The trio said they are committed to bringing back a government focused on the needs of the people and not on the wants of politicians and large developers, which they claim has been the case for other candidates running.
The GOPers are going to switch the village over to a zero-based budgeting system from the add-on percentage policy currently used. They are also vow to focus on the remediation of flooding in Suffern by insuring the Quarry siphoning system is built, saving village taxpayers money by reducing the need for constant cleanup. They state, “We believe in action not talk!”
