The annual one day folk festival, the Borderline Picnic and Jam, will be outdoors at 7:07 p.m. Sunday, August 25 at the New City Ambulance Corps building site in New City. It is free with a large cast of folksingers and writers and will include a jam and song circle. Mara Levine is coordinating the event that will include performances by Marshall Rosenberg, David Massengill, Arlon Bennett, Gathering Time, Jim Colbert, Steve Saffel, Anne Price, the Levins, Larry Kolker, Pat Lamanna, Josh Jeffen, Christine DeLeon, Marci Geller, Maggie Seligman, Roger Sprung and John Guth. The Reddan Brothers Band of Warwick at the Sugar Loaf Crossing Free Summer Concert August 8, up in Orange County. A jammin’ Rock and Blues Band. 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Augsut 15, the series conclusion with the E’Lissa Jones Band doing folk, rock and pop with Alice Leon as the opening singer.
