Ms. Tannenbaum brings a twenty-year record of cultural activism in the arts and literature, specializing in broadening the range of communities reached by not-for-profit organizations and government agencies. In addition her vision includes a belief that arts nourish and build stronger communities. Please join us in welcoming Janey Tannenbaum.

Keith Cornell, Board President
I’m excited to pass the torch to Janey who has been part of the national arts community for over twenty years. As Director of the Bowery Poetry Club/Bowery Arts & Sciences, a Director at the Smithsonian Institution Press, and consultant to arts organizations around the country she has worked to open doors for the broadest range of people to participate in the arts. The Rockland community should look forward to exciting new ideas from the Arts Council in the coming year.
