Illegal Can-Shooting in Montebello

On Thursday, June 13 at approximately 9:04 p.m. the Ramapo Police received a report of a party discharging a rifle in the area of 218 Haverstraw Rd Montebello. Responding officers learned that one Stephen Luick, 35-year-old male from Suffern, had discharged several shots from a .22 caliber rifle on the property of 228 Haverstraw Rd. Police said Luick was shooting at cans in the rear yard. He was charged with reckless endangerment in the 2^nd degree (misdemeanor) and discharge of a firearm (a violation of the Village of Montebello local law).
