SMITH BEGINS SMALL BUSINESS TOUR

ORANGETOWN, NY– Over the next few weeks and in conjunction with his campaign, Orangetown Receiver of Taxes candidate Chris Smith will be touring each of the town’s business districts. Smith’s goal is to talk with small business owners about any tax issues they may have as well acknowledge other issues within the town they believe need to be addressed.

This tour will provide him the opportunity to find out what needs to be fixed in regards to taxes and he will be able to direct owners to the right person for help in response to other issues and concerns. Hearing from the Orangetown community while touring will help Smith build a better understanding of what needs to be fixed to ultimately make the town a better place.

Smith states, “Small businesses are the backbone of Main Street America and I want to help them succeed in any way possible, even if it’s not in the description of the elected office I am working toward.”
