WEATHER WARNING FROM ROCKLAND COUNTY GOVT

At least three rounds of potentially heavy rain are in our forecast through Friday 

A widespread 1 to 1.75 inches of rain is forecast north of an approaching warm front through Tuesday. Minor urban flooding is likely across low lying and poor drainage areas. Isolated flooding of small streams and rivers is possible.

A Flood Watch is in effect through noon Tuesday.

Tuesday afternoon and evening– Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast with the approach of a trough of low pressure. A few storms could produce heavy rainfall and strong gusty winds.

Thursday through friday – As low pressure moves east across the Ohio Valley, it is forecast to pass south of Long Island Friday morning. This could bring a round of heavy rain along with gusty winds.
