CLARKSTOWN PD

On Monday, May 13, 2013 shortly after midnight, Anthony Passarella, 32, from West Nyack, NY was arrested for DWI.

Passarella was driving a 2001 Honda east on Laurel Road in New City when he failed to stop at the intersection with Brewery Road and struck a guardrail headon. Passarella appeared to be intoxicated and had the smell of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. He was trapped inside of the vehicle and required to be extricated by New City FD.

Upon extrication, Passarella was transported to Nyack Hospital for his injuries which did not appear to be life threatening. He was arrested and submitted to a blood test to determine his blood alcohol concentration. Results are pending.

Passarella was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Clarkstown Justice Court on May 20, 2013 to answer the charge of driving while intoxicated (misdemeanor).
