STONY POINT POLICE DEPARTMENT:

ASSAULT
Richard Gooler, age 25, residing at 95 Grassy Point Rd., Stony Point, NY, was arrested on April 22, 2013 for assault in the third degree. The defendant was arrested after he turned himself in on an active bench warrant for the listed charge. The defendant was arrested, processed, arraigned and released on an appearance ticket returnable May 16, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. after posting $250 cash bail.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA
Kenneth Solomon, age 20, residing at 401 Willow Grove Rd. Stony Point, NY, was arrested on April 20, 2013 for unlawful possession of marijuana. The defendant was arrested after a vehicle and traffic stop revealed that he was in possession of marihuana. The defendant was arrested, processed and issued an appearance ticket returnable June 4, 2013 at 9 a.m.

OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE WITH A SUSPENDED REGISTRATION
Thomas Starr, age 36, residing at 662 Western Hwy., Blauvelt, NY, was arrested on April 9, 2013 for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. The defendant was arrested after a patrol vehicle with a license plate reader revealed that the vehicle the defendant was operating had a suspended registration. Further DMV inquiry verified said suspension. The defendant was arrested, processed and released on numerous traffic summonses returnable May 16, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA
Michael J. Harris, age 18, residing at 10 Prospect Place, Tomkins Cove, NY, was arrested on April 19, 2013 for criminal trespass and unlawful possession of marijuana. The defendant was arrested after officers responded to an abandoned residence on Park Rd. in the Town of Stony Point and found him hiding inside said location. Further investigation revealed that he was also in possession of 4.6 grams of marijuana at the time of his arrest. The defendant was arrested, processed and issued an appearance ticket returnable May 16, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.

OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE WITH A SUSPENDED REGISTRATION
Daryl Whatts, age 41, residing at 32199 E. Main St. Apt 25, Mohegan Lake, NY, was arrested on April 19, 2013 for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. The defendant was arrested after a vehicle and traffic stop and DMV inquiry determined the vehicle he was operating had a suspended registration. The defendant was arrested, processed and released on numerous traffic summonses returnable May 16, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.

GRAND LARCENY
Ryan Herbert, age 21, residing at 22 Van Buren St., Stony Point, NY, was arrested on April 18, 2013 for grand larceny in the fourth degree. The defendant was arrested after a warrant investigation revealed an active bench warrant for the listed charge. The defendant was arrested, processed, arraigned and released on an appearance ticket returnable June 4, 2013 at 9 a.m.

AUO
Marilyn Chevalier, age 35, residing at 18 Wayne St., Haverstraw, NY, was arrested on April 18, 2013 for aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree. The defendant was arrested after a vehicle and traffic stop revealed she was operating a motor vehicle with a suspended learner’s permit. The defendant was arrested, processed and released on
numerous traffic summonses returnable May 7, 2013.

PETIT LARCENY & CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY
Gary Buigues, age 59, residing at 414 Knights Corner, Stony Point, NY, was arrested on April 17, 2013 for petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree. The defendant was arrested after a vehicle and traffic stop and DMV inquiry revealed an active bench warrant for listed charges. The defendant was arrested, processed, arraigned and released on an appearance ticket returnable April 18, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.

HARASSMENT
Victor Peraino, age 24, residing at 133 Central Hwy., Stony Point, NY, was arrested on April 16, 2013 for harassment in the second degree. The defendant was arrested after he turned himself in on an active bench warrant for the listed charge. The defendant was arrested, processed, arraigned and released on an appearance ticket returnable June 18, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.
