mccoyCRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY, CRIMINAL IMPERSONATION & MORE
Jackie McCoy, age 24, residing in Spring Valley, NY, was arrested on March 28, 2013 for petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, criminal impersonation in the second degree, assault in the third degree (bench warrant-FOA), criminal contempt in the second degree (bench warrant-FOA), grand larceny in the fourth degree (bench warrant-FOA) and identity theft in the third degree (bench warrant-FOA). The defendant was arrested following an investigation into a shoplifting complaint at the ShopRite of Stony Point where he is accused of stealing assorted grocery items valued at $598.51, and possessing same. The defendant, while in custody, did provide false information during the arrest process in an attempt to impersonate another to avoid being additionally charged on outstanding Bench Warrants out of Haverstraw and Spring Valley. The defendant was arrested, processed and issued an appearance ticket returnable in Stony Point Justice Court on April 16, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. He was then turned over to the Town of Haverstraw Police to answer the charge in their jurisdiction.

Troy Webber, age 37, undomiciled, was arrested on March 29, 2013 for burglary in the third degree and petit larceny. The defendant was arrested after an investigation into a burglary of a local business that occurred in the Tomkins Cove area of the Town. Investigation determined the defendant did forcibly enter the business and remove property from within without permission or authority. The defendant was arrested by the Stony Point Police Detective bureau, processed and arraigned before the Honorable William F. Franks and remanded to the Rockland County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 bail. He is due back in the Stony Point Justice Court on April 4, 2013 at 12:30 p.m.

Sadowski, age 27, residing at 8 Higgins Dr., Stony Point, NY, was arrested on March 23, 2013 for driving while intoxicated, driving wile intoxicated per se and numerous vehicle and traffic violations. Stony Point Police arrested the defendant after a vehicle and traffic stop determined he was operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition and in excess of .08 BAC. The defendant was arrested, processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable on April 18, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.

Justin S. Lent, age 26, residing at 4 Venter Ln., Nanuet, NY, was arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated, refusal of breath screening device and numerous vehicle and traffic violations. Stony Point Police arrested the defendant after a vehicle and traffic stop determined he was operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition and in excess of .18 BAC. The defendant was arrested, processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable on April 16, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.

michelCRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A WAPON, MENACING, HARASSMENT, ASSAULT & DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Gregory Michel, age 27, residing at 6 Frado Ct. Stony Point, NY, was arrested on March 24, 2013 for criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, menacing in the second degree, harassment in the second degree, assault in the third degree and disorderly conduct. The defendant was arrested after an officer investigating a noise complain discovered the defendant did have an active arrest warrant and bench warrant for above state charges. The defendant was arrested, processed, arraigned and remanded to the Rockland County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail. The defendant is due in the Stony Point Justice Court on April 4 at 1:30 p.m.

Michelle Caruso, age 48, residing at 24 Debby Ln., Stony Point, NY, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se, and numerous vehicle and traffic violations. The Stony Point Police arrested the defendant after investigation into an erratic operator yielded a traffic stop, which determined the defendant was operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition and in excess of .08 BAC. The defendant was arrested, processed and released on numerous traffic tickets returnable May 7, 2013 at 9 a.m.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA
Julio C. Rivas, 18, residing at 32 Gurnee Ave. Apt. 1, Haverstraw, NY, was arrested on March 25, 2013 for unlawful possession of marijuana and several vehicle and traffic infractions after a traffic stopped revealed he was in possession of 7.8 grams of marijuana. He was released on an appearance ticket and several uniform traffic tickets returnable April 18, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA
Paul L. Bennett, age 25, residing at 3 Mallard Circle, Pomona, NY, was arrested on March 24, 2013 for unlawful possession of marijuana after an investigation revealed he was in possession of quantity of marijuana. He was released on an appearance ticket and several uniform traffic tickets returnable April 16, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.
