MHA HOSTS WHAT’S COOL CONFERENCE

The Mental Health Association of Rockland County, Inc. is hosting it’s 11th Annual What’s Cool Conference, “How to Know and Get What You Want in Life” for young women on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the Finklestein Memorial Library, in the Fielding Room at 24 Chestnut Street in Spring Valley NY.

The focus of the conference is to teach young women skills regarding positive decision-making, recognizing positive values, avoiding pit-falls, and valuing their strengths and self-worth. All Rockland County girls, grades 7 to 12 are invited. Refreshments will be served. Community service credit will be given to participants.

Space is limited to the FIRST 100 arrivals, so plan to arrive by 11:30 a.m. to ensure a spot. Conference is hosted by the Rockland Success Teams/MHA, the AAUW (American Association of University Women – RC Branch) and POW’R Against Tobacco.
