RESTAURANT X HOSTS, GLC SPONSORS RBA HOLIDAY PARTY

X marks the spot for the 2012 RBA Annual Holiday Celebration held at Restaurant “X” in Congers, New York on December 11 and sponsored by Goldstein Lieberman and Company LLC.

“We were proud to sponsor the Rockland Business Association’s joyous holiday celebration. We are always seeking ways to give back and support relevant associations such as the RBA” remarked Phillip E. Goldstein, managing partner of Goldstein Lieberman and Company LLC, the 15th largest certified public accounting and business advisory firm in New Jersey and the largest firm of its kind in the Hudson Valley region. “The Rockland Business Association headed by Al Samuels has done an outstanding job of maintaining and improving the environment for business. One of the ways it helps the business community is by fostering exceptional communications with decision makers in both the public and private sectors,” said Goldstein.

Even with a competing political fundraiser for Ed Day, who is running for Rockland County Executive in 2013, at the same time, the RBA event had a very strong turnout. In attendance were many of Rockland County and the surrounding area’s top business leaders and political figures. Guests included William Helmer, chairman of the board, Provident New York Bancorp and president of Helmer-Cronin Construction headquartered in Stony Point, along with Senator David Carlucci (D-Rockland/Orange) who was recently appointed to the Bipartisan Senate Task Force on Hurricane Sandy Recovery, a newly established panel of both Democrats and Republicans from New York’s hardest-hit areas.
