Last Thursday kicked off the 2012 Farmers Market season in Nyack sponsored by the Nyack Chamber of Commerce. The market will run every Thursday, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. rain or shine from May 10 to November 12 in the Riverspace municipal parking lot on Main Street. Free parking is available during market hours in the Artopee parking lot.
The market, in its 15th year, has more vendors than ever. Live family entertainment scheduled every week makes it a perfect summer outing. This year’s list of vendors offers everything you need to make a wonderful farm to table dinner while supporting Rockland County’s very own farmers, gardeners, bakers and local storefronts.
Some of the vendors include: Bluefield Farm (flowers), Dines Farms (Free-range poultry etc.), Madure Farms (gourmet mushrooms), Orchards of Conklin (produce), Panzarella (delicious Italian foods), Pie Lady & Son, Warwick Winery and many more.
