Comedy legend Robert Klein, described by LoHud Comedy as one of “the funniest, most versatile comics and social critics of our time,” will make a one show only appearance at the Turning Point Cafe in Piermont Friday, May 11. “The Secret Garden” a musical, opens at Elmwood Playhouse in Nyack Friday May 11. Directed by Larry Wilbur, 11 year old Mary Lennox, orphaned during a cholera outbreak in India, is sent to a lonely, vast house in Yorkshire, England where she discovers her secret garden. Helen Gilliken, the Apron Lady is making aprons to help raise money for the Home For Heroes in Orangeburg. Gilliken has raised more than $30,000 since starting on her project in 1991. She is looking for donations of material. Call her at  845 786 5176 in Stony Point.

“The Music Man” is coming to Westchester Broadway Theatre July 5 to 29. in place of Cinderella. A Family Theatre Company production.

The Cultural Arts Theatre at Rockland Community College Tuesday April 18 it will host Shakespeare’s “Treason”, a forty year old mystery told by storyteller Hank Whittemore. Directed by Ted Story.
