ENERGY BIKE GENERATES INTEREST AT HOME SHOW

Nicholas Galetta, 9, of Stony Point, puts the pedal to the metal and generates electricity on a stationary bicycle to illustrate how that electricity is put to work at the 25th annual Rockland Home Show last week at Rockland Community College’s Field House. The Energy Bike was built by Rockland BOCES Career and Technical Education (CTEC) students for Keep Rockland Beautiful (KRB) with a grant from Orange and Rockland Utilities to support and enrich KRB’s environmental education programs.
