Emmett’s Castle in Pearl River to Rock Friday Night with Three Emerging Groups

BY GEORGE J. DACRE

Speakerbot, Wobblesauce and Coda’s Odyssey (headed up by Nyack’s own Frank Coda) are the headliners this Friday, February 17 at the popular Pearl River restaurant and club Emmett’s Castle, in what press agent Seth Menaker said will be a night of killer music and prime vibes.

Speakerbot, the robot DJs alias of New Jersey’s Aashish Bansal, also known as “Aash,” injects a bit of soul into the U.S.musical scene, says Seth, and has been producing house, disco and funk for more than six years while playing all over the Northeast. He is said to move the dance crowd and Aash believes he is primed to “blow up” in 2012.

Wobblesauce is also making their first appearance in Rockland County at Emmett’s Castle this Friday, and Menaker says, “They are going to be nuts.” Wobblesauce is known for their complex, textured effects and driving rhythm section that Seth says “makes the crowd freak out and get down.”

Nyack’s own Frank Coda heads up Coda’s Odyssey which will kick off the night with a star studded lineup that is guaranteed to rock. Members of Fikup, Mun and SchwizZ make up Odysey with Coda. Tickets are $5 at the door. 21 plus only. Emmett’s Castle is located at the Blue Hills Golf Course in Pearl River. Information at 845-735-3504.
