STABBED OUTSIDE NOEL’S

Is Noel’s Restaurant on a string of bad luck, or is it becoming the type of place you don’t want to bring your kids? Earlier this year it was discovered that drug dealers were using the Irish pub Noel’s as a hub, and now this past weekend the restaurant hosted a wild Halloween party that culminated in a vicious stabbing. Police have said the bar is becoming a place of interest, since the closing of Fiesta Cancun’s bar three years ago.
Gregory Michel, 25-year-old, of 6 Frado Ct. in Stony Point, was arrested on October 29, on charges of stabbing a 30-year-old and a 37-year-old victim in the neck and arms respectively. Michel, the victims and others had been ushered out of Noel’s back door due to rowdy behavior. Ultimately the stabbing happened in front of Pizzarena, all the way on the other side of the shopping complex. As of Tuesday, no motive had been established for the crime.
Police were investigating the usual possibilities; drugs, money, love. Michel, who attended the North Rockland school system, had been arrested in 2004 on an assault charge but was not convicted.
