ON-SITE SHREDDING AT PALISADES CENTER IN SUPPORT OF CANCER RESEARCH FUNDRAISER

On Saturday, June 2 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Proshed Security will host their “Shred Cancer” event in the Palisades Center F parking lot (near Cheesecake Factory).

Individuals may bring boxes of documents or multi-media to one of PROSHRED’s on-site shredding trucks to safely and securely dispose of unwanted personal information. The event is free to attend and a suggested donation of $5 per box will go directly towards funding AICR’s cancer research and education programs.

For the past five years, Proshed Security has taken initiative to assist the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) by hosting a donation event in various locations across the United States. This year, PROSHRED has set their national wide goal of raising $50,000 for research. CEO Jeffrey Hasham commented, “We at Proshed are extremely privileged to have the opportunity to contribute to the crucial research conducted by AICR. Over the last 30 years, AICR’s work has led to increasing awareness among diet, exercise and the prevention of many cancers.”

In addition to their event in June, PROSHRED will be hosting tabling events throughout Palisades Center on May 19th and 20th. “We’re excited to partner for the fifth year with PROSHRED. It’s a great opportunity for community involvement and to come out in support of cancer research,” says Rachel Chester, Marketing Director at Palisades Center.
