Clarkstown North Graduate becomes Eagle Scout

Rockland County Executive Ed Day congratulated Pennsylvania College of Technology freshman Peter Yacuk of Troop 79 in New Cityon becoming an Eagle Scout at his Eagle Scout Court of Honor.

His community service project was to enhance the walking path on the main campus at Rockland BOCES in West Nyack. He cleared brush around the path, leveled the dirt and installed benches for students, staff and the community.

“Congratulations to Peter on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. We are proud of his efforts and hard work in beautifying the walking path at Rockland BOCES,” said County Executive Day. “I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
