Hello, Rockland County! We are just about a week away from Thanksgiving, and these next few days are hectic, so let’s get right to the forecast.

Friday: Mix of sun and clouds. Chilly, with a high near 45° after a morning low near 33°. Chance of rain is 0%.

Saturday: Rain showers during the afternoon. Cloudy, with a high near 42° after a morning low near 32°. Chance of rain is 80%.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a few morning showers. Then, snow flurries are possible during the afternoon. High near 50°, but temperatures will drop into the 40s by the late morning hours. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Monday: Mix of clouds and sun. A stray flurry is possible. Cold, with a high near 38° after a morning low near 32°. Chance of snow is 10%.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 50° after a morning low near 30°. Chance of rain is 0%.

Wednesday: Increasing clouds during the afternoon. High near 50° after a morning low near 33°. Chance of rain is 10%.

Thanksgiving Day: Cloudy with a chance for rain showers. High near 45° after a morning low near 35°. Chance of rain is 30%.

SUMMARY:
While we can expect rain Saturday and Saturday night, we appear to dry out on time for Sunday. Travel days get the green light Monday and Tuesday, and even likely Wednesday. Some computer forecast models are hinting at rain for Thanksgiving Day, but being several days out, the forecast is quite unclear.
