The 52-year-old Detective from New City passed away last night after a brief illness. Freddy Parent began his career with the Clarkstown Police Department in July of 1991 as a dispatcher. On July 29, 1996 Freddy was sworn in as a police officer with the Clarkstown Police Department and he was issued badge #115. In May of 2005 he was promoted to Detective in the Juvenile Aid Bureau. As a detective he became an expert in solving fraud and credit card crimes.
