Councilman Frank Borelli, Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Lt. Raymond McCullagh, Clarkstown’s new police chief, Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann and Fr. Robert McKeon, pastor of St. Francis of Assisi.
Cardinal Timothy Dolan’s gold ring symbolizes a cardinal’s bond with the church and the papacy. Pope Francis chose the design of the ring he gave to Dolan when he elevated him from Bishop to Cardinal.
Catholic Daughters of America and Knight of Columbus were in attendance.
The prayer garden was a labor of love for Casey Murphy, Freshman at Albertus Magnus H.S. She is a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo and was doing Confirmation community service. Casey was assisted by Mary Corretjer, Administrative Asst. at St. Francis.
