Mariano Rivera, Steiner Sports Assist Relief Efforts in Puerto Rico, Mexico and Caribbean on Thursday, Sept. 28

Yankees all-time great Mariano Rivera and Steiner Sports Marketing are teaming to assist the relief efforts for victims of the recent natural disasters that have ravaged Puerto Rico, Mexico and the Caribbean beginning at an event tomorrow (Thursday, September 28), from 4-6 p.m. Fans are encouraged to participate by dropping off the supplies listed below to the Steiner Warehouse loading dock at 10 Cedar Street in New Rochelle, NY.

Rivera will be accepting supplies and meeting with the generous donors and will be joined by popular television personality Evelyn Lozada, the star of Basketball Wives.

Supplies being accepted include: bottled water, non-perishable food, toothbrushes and tooth paste, medical supplies (band-aids, aspirin, alcohol and hand sanitizer), soap, feminine hygiene products, batteries, tooth brushes and tooth paste, and portable lamps. Signs at the dock to direct fans will read Steiner Sports Natural Disaster Supply Drop Off.

Along with the Mariano-led effort on Thursday, hours for drop-off are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. For those who cannot participate during those hours call 914-307-1140 or email [email protected] so alternate arrangements can be made.

The supplies will be distributed to the victims of the Natural Disasters in Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.

The Drop-Off location is directly across the street from the Toyota dealership.
