21-year-old man and teenage girl both arrested after violent episode on Jackson Dr.

Twenty-one-year-old Michael Coskey and an unnamed 16-year-old female are both under arrest after a violent dispute between the two at Coskey’s Jackson Dr., Stony Point residence. The male faces more numerous charges but the young girl faces a higher degree assault charge.
Stony Point PD officers were called to Coskey’s home after a report of a male “touching a female” and determined that both Coskey and the young girl had committed assault. Coskey is accused of punching the girl and hitting her with a pipe, while threatening to attack her with a hatchet and choking her with his knee. He faces charges including two counts of assault in third degree, three counts of menacing in the third degree, criminal obstruction of breathing and several other counts.
Police allege the 16-year-old girl struck Coskey in his back with an unknown object causing a severe cut that required several stitches. She was charged with assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a deadly weapon in the fourth degree.
The incident required both to be treated at a local hospital for their injuries. Coskey was sent to Rockland County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bail, while the female was released on her own recognizance after arraignment. They are both due in court Thursday, April 20 at 1:30 p.m.
