Pedestrian Struck and Killed on Rt. 304 in Bardonia

CLARKSTOWN PD REPORT

On Monday February 6, 2017 at 6:20 p.m. the Clarkstown Police Department responded to the area of Rt. 304 at Village Green Complex in Bardonia for a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle in the northbound lane of Rt. 304.

The victim, Nancy Rico, 63, from Bardonia, NY was lying in the roadway. She was transported by Nanuet Ambulance to Nyack Hospital for treatment. Nancy Rico succumbed to her injuries during the early morning hours.

The driver of the vehicle, a male, 42, from Monsey, NY, stopped and remained at the scene. The Clarkstown Police Accident Investigation Team responded and Rt. 304 remained closed until 11 p.m.

At this point in the investigation the cause is still unknown and no tickets or arrests have been made.
