Orangetown

Attempted Murder in Pearl River

The Orangetown Police arrested James Sheridan (40 years old from Congers) Friday night for attempted murder and assault.

The police responded to a report of a fight between Sheridan and the victim at the scene. They found a weapon nearby and the victim who suffered numerous wounds.

The victim was transferred to Nyack Hospital and Sheridan was transferred to headquarters where he will be processed with attempted murder in the second degree and assault in the first and second degree. His bail is set at $75,000

Georgia Man Arrested for DWI in Spring Valley

Ramapo Police responded to a car accident on Gerow Avenue. Officers at the scene discovered that one of the drivers, a 23 year old man from Georgia was more than twice the legal limit. He was arrested and processed with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI.

Fugitive in Ramapo

crim 45 year old, Heather Angelino is wanted by the Ramapo Police Department for possession of a hypodermic instrument. This charge dates back to an incident that occurred in the Village of Sloatsburg in July. Angelino is 5’2 and weighed around 160 lbs. Anyone with information please call the Ramapo Police.

 

 

 

Florida Man Found in Possession of Weapon

During an investigation of a home in Chestnut Ridge, they found one of the parties, a 53 year old man from Florida to be in possession of three handguns. He did not have New York State pistol permit.

He was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree and placed on $50,000 bail.

18 Year Old Arrested with BB gun

On Christmas Eve, a female victim reported that a male suspect pointed what looked like a gun at her in Airmont. Officers found the suspect who was 18 and discovered two BB guns from his property.

The male was arrested for menacing in the second degree and aggravated harassment in the second degree.

 

 

Domestic Dispute on Christmas

Sunday night, the Ramapo Police responded to a home in New Hempstead on a report of a domestic dispute.

The wife accused the husband of choking her and breaking her cell phone when she tried to call the police. The 23 year old husband was arrested for criminal mischief in the third degree and criminal obstruction of breathing and blood circulation.

Clarkstown

Larceny Fugitive in Clarkstown

Nyasia Chislom is wanted by the Clarkstown Police Department for larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

The 27 year old female is black with black hair and brown eyes and stands about five feet four inches tall.

Suffern

Weapon Arrest in Suffern

Suffern Police arrested a 19 year old male for criminal possession of marijuana and a weapon. An officer on patrol on Park Avenue observed the teen smoking marijuana in his car. After he arrested the suspect, the officer found him to be in possession of an illegal knife. He is pending a future court date.

DWAI Arrest on Christmas

A 43 year old Suffern man was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs on Sunday night. Officers noticed the driver driving the wrong way on a one way street. After further investigation, it was confirmed that the driver was impaired by drugs.
