REMEMBERING “OFFICER RAYMOND”

ray2 ray1Rockland BOCES Career Tech (CTEC) Criminal Justice students this week presented a plaque to long-time community partner Clarkstown Animal Control Officer Pat McCoy-Coleman, honoring her beloved K-9 partner “Officer Raymond,” who recently passed away. Pat and Raymond had been involved with the Rockland BOCES community since 2004, providing experiential learning opportunities for students through the Criminal Justice program and Career Day. To commemorate the event, Pat was joined by Clarkstown Police Department Acting Chief Captain Robert Mahon, Sergeant JoAnne Fratianni, CTEC Principal Kim Bell and Criminal Justice Instructor Marta Cortelli. Rockland BOCES students are lucky to have Pat share her wealth of knowledge about animals and how the law pertains to them!
