JENNIFER LYNCH – TZHS’s ROTARY STUDENT OF THE MONTH

jenTZHS’s November Rotary Student of the Month is Jennifer Lynch. She is Secretary of the DECA Club this year, and she was a state qualifier at competitions last year.

Lynch is interested in pursuing a degree in Business/ Finance. She attended a Women’s Leadership Forum in NYC this year with Dell/EMC, where she took part in the discussion of opportunities for determined women in business. She has been inducted into the National and History Honor societies, is a member of VAASA where she mentors younger students, and a Peer Leader who works with freshman in transition to the high school.

Jennifer volunteers as a CYO coach at St. Catherine’s and also coaches developmentally delayed students in Buddy Ball. She has also helped to organize fund raisers for such worthy organizations as Hi-Tor Animal shelter and People to People food pantry. Jennifer has been a member of the Leo Club since the ninth grade and contributed to many community service activities throughout the year. She is also a member of Students against Destructive Decisions club. Additionally, she is captain of the TZHS varsity soccer team where she has played for four years.
