The dentists and team members at Ramapo Dental Care are giving our troops serving overseas a reason to smile. For the fourth year in a row, team members collected candy as part of Operation Gratitude. True to form the tooth docs also sent our men and women fighting abroad brand new toothbrushes and plenty of floss. The troops will have the chance to enjoy some delicious treats and walk away without any pesky cavities.

Ramapo Dental Care encouraged Girl Scout Troops, Boy Scout troops, church groups, school groups, and other community organizations to collect candy after Halloween and bring it to one of its affiliated practices for shipment. Dental Solutions, Baystate Dental, Family Dental Group, Dental Associates of Northern Virginia and Gentle Dental are just some of the offices that participated this year.

Ramapo Dental Care collected 330 pounds as its location at 29 North Airmont Road. Collectively, the dental offices shipped over 4,450 pounds of candy to the troops this year, and more than 12,000 pounds of candy since it began participating in Operation Gratitude in 2013.

The candy packages are sure to bring smiles and it’s an easy way to say “thank you” to the American troops who are serving overseas to keep us safe. You can reach Ramapo Dental Care at 845-357-2599.
