New York State Police have arrested a 36-year-old resident of Suffern on a DWI charge

crimeThe arrest came about when state police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for multiple traffic violations on Friday, Oct. 21, at about 11:09 p.m., according to state police.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as Robert W. Harlow, was found to be intoxicated, state police said.

Harlow was transported and processed at State Police Monroe, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.19 percent, more than twice the legal limit, according to state police.

Harlow has been charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor, along with multiple vehicle and traffic violations, state police said. He was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Tuxedo Court on Thursday, according to state police.
