Matthew Prentice, age 44, residing at 10 Charles Lane, 2B, Pomona, NY, was arrested on August 30, 2016 for criminal contempt in the second degree. The defendant was arrested following a warrant investigation. The defendant was wanted on an arrest warrant that was filed as a result of the defendant violating a duly served order of protection. The defendant was arrested, processed and then arraigned in Stony Point Justice Court. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable on September 14, 2016 at 9 a.m. after posting $250 bail.

 

2 rasheedFUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE
Jerimie Rasheed, age 38, residing at 10 North Cheryl Street, Chestnut Ridge, NY, was arrested on August 31, 2016 as a fugitive from justice. The defendant was arrested after an investigation revealed he was wanted on an active arrest warrant out of Bergen County, N.J. for sale of marijuana. The defendant was arrested and charged as a fugitive from justice, processed, arraigned and remanded to the Rockland County Correctional Facility awaiting extradition.


3 hernandezCRIMINAL CONTEMPT & AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT

Manuel A. Hernandez, age 26, residing at 1 Coyne Drive, Haverstraw, NY, was arrested on August 31, 2016 for criminal contempt in the second degree and aggravated harassment in the second degree. The defendant was arrested following a domestic dispute. It is alleged the defendant did violate a duly served Order of Protection. Subsequent to his arrest the defendant was additionally charged and arrested for aggravated harassment in the second degree involving a separate domestic incident that occurred on August 28, 2016. The defendant was arrested, processed and is awaiting arraignment in the Stony Point justice Court.

4 giuttariCRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE & CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
James Giuttari, age 19, residing at 314 Riley Road, New Windsor, NY, was arrested on August 31, 2016 for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminal mischief in the fourth degree. The defendant was arrested after investigation revealed the defendant was wanted on an active bench warrant out of New Windsor for criminal mischief. Subsequent to his arrest, the defendant was found in possession of heroin, and charged accordingly. The defendant was arrested, processed and released to the Town of New Windsor P.D. to answer the charge related to the criminal mischief. He is due back in the Stony Point Justice Court on October 4, 2016 at 9 a.m. to answer the CPCS 7th charge.
