Taino Smokehouse, a new restaurant and bar located at 1 Spring Valley Marketplace located in Spring Valley, New York, opened this week. Owner and operator Caroline Torres promises customers a delicious lunch and dinner menu with a variety of local ingredients.
“We are in the perfect location to embrace the neighboring businesses and residents as well as commuters and travelers on the many thruways,” said Smokehouse owner Caroline. “Our food and drink menu will be fun and interesting with a wide variety of options.”
Their award-winning Chef and Pit Master Van Hurd is no stranger to the spotlight. Van, a Texas native competed in the sixth season of Gordon Ramsay’s “Hell’s Kitchen.” Van says his passion and energy are a direct result of his upbringing surrounded by wrestling celebrities. Van’s mother Luna Vachon was a world famous wrestler for the WWF, WWE, and various other circuits. The result is a ball of energy with a very sophisticated palate.
The smokehouse will provide delivery, take out, dine in, and catering services. The catering services are for parties as small as 20 people up to 2,000 people. The restaurant will be open daily from 5 – 10 p.m. until the middle of September when they will have their grand opening. At that time they will be open 7 days a week from 11:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. daily.
