Jessica A. Quintana Hess, formerly of Rockland County, N.Y., has recently been named director of admissions at Lycoming College in Pennsylvania.

“In less than three years with us at the College, Jessica has done an outstanding job increasing the diversity of our students coming to Lycoming and the number of students enrolling from out of state,” said Mike Konopski, vice president for Enrollment Management. “She also brings an enthusiasm and dedication to our college that are an inspiration to all who work with her. We’re thrilled to have her in this leadership role.”

Before coming to Lycoming, Quintana Hess was an admissions counselor at Bucknell University where she also served as the director of multicultural affairs. She brings nearly six years of admissions experience from the American University and Johns Hopkins University. Prior to her new position, Quintana Hess had been serving as associate director of Admissions and director of Partnerships at Lycoming. Along with increasing enrollment in non-contiguous states, she was responsible for establishing relationships with charter schools and community-based organizations nationwide to create well-defined pathways to college for students from traditionally underserved populations.

Quintana Hess is a frequent presenter and panelist for webinars and for state, regional and national conferences for various organizations including the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling, the College Board and the National Association for College Admission Counseling. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in education from Bucknell University.
