Feds charge teen with sex crime

A former volunteer wrestling coach in Clarkstown, 19 year-old Marcus Stroud, is now facing federal charges in addition to state felony charges for sexual abuse against a younger teenage boy in the Rockland County wrestling programs. According to U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara, who worked with the FBI on the case, Stroud allegedly used several Snapchat accounts to coerce nude photos from the young man, made him think they would be put on the internet, and then lured the young man to complete sexual acts in exchange for keeping said photos off the internet. If convicted, he faces 15-30 years in prison for sexual exploitation of a child.
