YOUNG CHEFS ACADEMY COMING TO ROCKLAND

Young Chefs Academy is ready to brighten the days of all aspiring young cooking masterminds in the Rockland County area.

Slated to open Fall 2016, Young Chefs Academy will be offering the children of Rockland County the opportunity to explore and sharpen their inner epicure. Franchisees Sebastian and Tina Latina, who are entrepreneurially spirited and passionate about cooking, will be opening their Young Chefs Academy at 59 S. Main St., New City, NY.

“My wife and I always had an interest owning our own business and when we came across Young Chefs Academy, it was exactly what we were looking for,” said Sebastian. “I love business, my wife loves cooking, we both love kids. Also, more than anything else, we wanted to make a difference in our community.”

Young Chefs Academy is the country’s leading kids cooking school, which has captivated the creativity of children across U.S. communities for more than a decade. Local New City-area parents will now be able to obtain top-notch culinary instruction for their children.

“Designs to expand into the attractive area of New City have been in the works for some time,” said President Roger Schmidt. “The family-oriented culture makes this a great fit for Young Chefs Academy and we are exceptionally delighted to have Sebastian and Tina lead the way into this market.”
Founded in 2003, Young Chefs Academy is one part culinary adventure, one part culinary education, and it’s all for children. Here, learning invaluable life lessons (shhh… they don’t even know it’s happening) occurs through a cooking curriculum that evokes curiosity, which provides children a pathway to personal discovery and creativity, all in a warm, welcoming and inspiring movement.
