Man Shot in the Face in Nyack, Police Search for Suspect

suspectPolice said the victim – a local Nyack resident – was shot in the face as he was walking near the Super 8 Motel in Nyack at around 5:40 p.m.

Police launched an investigation to find out who shot a 20-year-old man in the face on Route 59 early Saturday evening.

Officers found the victim bleeding from his mouth. He was transported to Nyack Hospital by members of the Nyack Community Ambulance Corps for non-life-threatening injuries.

So far, no arrests have been made. Clarkstown detectives continue to investigate the incident. There is no description of the gunman yet.
