Elderly Couple Found Deceased in Clarkstown

An elderly couple was found deceased in New City by a family member last Wednesday.
On February 23 at around 10:30 a.m. Clarkstown PD patrol officers found a deceased man and woman in a residence in separate bedrooms. The couple, Joseph Codi, 89, and Elizabeth Codi, 85, appeared to have been deceased for more than a week.
They were the homeowners of the residence. The Clarkstown Detective Bureau is conducting an investigation of the situation. An autopsy was conducted by the Rockland County Medical Examiner and the deaths do not appear to be suspicious in nature.
