Lending.com Announces Appointment of Stony Point’s Liz Verrier as General Counsel

Lending.com, a leading Lending-as-a-Service platform, last week announced the appointment of Liz Verrier of Stony Point, NY as general counsel.

As the firm’s chief legal officer she will be responsible for providing legal guidance to Lending.com’s board of directors and senior management, and will oversee all legal and compliance matters for the company.

Prior to joining Lending.com, Liz was vice president & senior counsel at American Express, where she focused on the emerging payments and technologies business unit and was a recipient of the 2015 American Express Chairman’s Award for Innovation. Prior to American Express, Liz served as compliance counsel and chairperson of the Compliance Committee at Revolution Money.  She holds a Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law, cum laude, and BA from Bethan College, WV, magna cum laude with distinction.
