Bluegrass Folk Music Concert Set for Sunday December 6 in Nanuet

Roger Sprung, who has toured with Kay Star and performed with his banjo at famous hotels in the U.S.A., will be featured at the Borderline Folk Music event at the Nanuet Library, Sunday, December 6, 1 – 2:15 p.m. followed by a jam session from 2:15 – 4 p.m.

Sprung, from Middletown, Connecticut said he started his music career in the 1940s at the age of 17 at Washington Square in New York City. He has played at Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center and was once crowned world champion banjo player. Oh, and he sings too.
