Storytelling Day at Haverstraw King’s Daughters Next Weekend

storytellingBy proclamation of County Executive, Edwin J. Day, November 15 is Storytelling Day in the County of Rockland.

Enjoy the 20th Annual Rockland County Storytelling Festival on Sunday, November 15 from 1:30 – 5 p.m., at the Haverstraw King’s Daughters Public Library on Route 202 (behind CVS) in Garnerville.

Professional storytellers Christopher Agostino (StoryFaces), April Armstrong, Elise Krakower, Jonathan Kruk, and Pamela Schembri, as well as high school student tellers will be on hand. There will also be story-crafts for children–but storytelling is not just for kids. Find out for yourself at this free, multicultural, family event.

This event is sponsored by Rockland Teachers’ Center,  Haverstraw King’s Daughters Public Library, Green Meadow Waldorf School,  St. Thomas Aquinas College,  Howard T.
